Well...this was the couple days that M came to meet the family and see good old home sweet home. It began as another mellow, boring end of the week and ended with an interesting story that I'm sure will be told in my house for years to come. He came on Wednesday. We dragged him shopping. He met all my wonderful friends. Thursday we did nothing then went out to eat with the family, came home and got crushed by A at Trivial Pursuit. Friday we drove around...I showed him the area. We even dared to put the top down on the convertible. AND...I didn't stall on a hill...in fact, I barely drifted backwards! YES! Anyhow, then we went to Pittsburgh. That was a good time. We came home, and we just decided to relax for his last night here. We fell asleep and woke up to screaming. We had no clue what was going on. Turns out, some girl got into his car and was looking around to steal money. Fortunately, M had nothing worth taking in his car. Since we don't have police here, there wasn't much anyone could do. So, we all went to sleep, and woke up at 6 am to the police banging on our front door. It was a ridiculous night. We were worried about M being upset and not wanting to come back, and M was worried about making a good impression and not even being allowed to come back. It was interesting and I am positive this will be one of those great stories that never fail to show up in my life. I think everywhere I go or anything I do, I get a good story out of. This weekend was no exception. Overall, I had an amazing visit with M. It was fun and nice.
The one thing that is killing me right now is the fact that classes start in four days again. This break went much too fast, and I feel like as soon as I settle back in with my friends and everything here I am off to UD again. I am excited to see all my UD friends though. Being at home makes me feel out of my element. At school, I have a routine and a schedule and all my stuff is there. At home, I feel lost because there is nothing to do.
Well...I guess that's it for now. New Year's Eve is tomorrow and that's all I have to say about that. :)

I guess I'd just like some Tinker Toys...
Keith just melts my socks off. Thanks J for buying A the CD for Christmas so I can enjoy it. Haha. So I survived my 20th Christmas. I'm not a big fan of Christmas, but I guess as I get older I can bear it a little more because I have a ton more appreciation for all the work that goes into it as well as for the real reason behind it. All the stupid petty stuff I can't take though. I like the breakfast with my family; I like the food and company and laughter. It was really nice to get just to spend time with my family and truly soak them up. Of course, you realize some interesting things about your family-good and bad. Classic stuff.
So, rather than say what I got for Christmas, I will just say that I am thankful for everything I have-materialistic and not. My family and everything they can give me is amazing. And I have friends that truly love me and care about me. I am thankful that Aunt M wore pants under her Mrs. Claus outfit. I am thankful that Gram didn't get as drunk as last year. I am thankful my mom didn't stick a fake penis in her mouth in front of me when I was 11. I am thankful that I have a car to drive, clothes to wear, food to eat, and a home. You know, I don't really like Christmas, but it's one of those times when you really realize how much you have. So, I can't hate it for that.
We watched the Grinch last night and A Christmas Story. I forgot that the kid wanted a blimp and that he slept with it under the tree. Gotta love that movie.
All the nights I have been home, A and I have slept in the same bed together. We are too cute, and I love her too much.
Anyhow, Christmas is over, and for once I don't feel empty. I feel content. And it's a good feeling. Now the fun starts with friends and family. M is coming in less than two days, and I get to show him all the fun stuff here. Haha yeah right. Well, I'm going to bed without a silver blimp. I guess I will survive.

when it stops, you marry k-fed, pop out a couple babies, then flash your area at the world with paris hilton...

Just listening to Lucky by Britney Spears. She asked a question so I answered her.
Anyhow, I'm over halfway done with finals! And only three more days until DISNEY WORLD! I checked the weather for Orlando today. It is supposed to be in the high 70s and sunny. I know you're jealous. :)
I just took my Spanish final. I am amazed by myself and how much Spanish I actually know. Freaking awesome! Anyhow, it feels like this week is dragging on and on and on. Finals weeks are always the longest weeks of my life.
Yesterday gave me two reasons to be happy: 1. Fergie's cd and 2. I finally got Toxic by Britney. I feel like my iTunes is now prepared for finals week and Disney traveling.
It is raining today. Blah. I wore my new skinny jeans...A, I almost rolled them up since it was raining, but then I remembered you told me I was never allowed to do that. Then, when AJ told me she liked my rolled up jeans and laughed at me, I knew I had to put them down for sure. I suppose function rules over fashion in my life. What can I say?
AJ and I watched The Price is Right today. It's our new finals week tradition I suppose. Some lady was jumping around like an idiot. Then she stole Bob's mic. Then she did a cartwheel because she won golf clubs and a crib. Her shirt went up and the world saw her bra. TUCK IT IN! GOODNESS! It's eleven in the gosh darn morning. Old happy timers are watching! Have a conscience! Learn some manners! Some other lady took 349729357 hours to get to the damn stage. Then in the lil wheel spin she got a dollar on the first try. She stood under the little light up 1.00 praying. I took out my finals frustration on the television. How does Bob deal with his job?!
Happy Tuesday everyone! :) I hope you like the snowman cuz I love him!

Ok just kidding...I know it's really concentration. But I don't have concentration now; I have procrastination. Finals week just sucks all the life out of someone. Speaking of life...look at this cool thing I've found to take up my time.

To the left...To the left
Happy Christmas on Campus Day! Today, hundreds of kids got bussed into UD, and we got to hang out with them. E and I adopted a kid together. She is in first grade. Things to note about tonight: E and I got made fun of and possibly had a picture taken of us because we have the same winter coat (thanks moms!). G called the elevator an alligator, too cute. She got two trees painted on her cheeks, her nose painted red, and her name written in pink across her forehead. She then ran around yelling at people, "what's my name what's my name?" while pointing to her forehead. It was a fun night. I got my workout by carrying her on my back. At least it was much better than my Satan child last year. Campus looked gorgeous. All the lights and the big tree are up. I don't think it will truly be Christmas until I go home.
So, Wednesday night I went to Hammerjax. Some guy thrusted me from behind. Quite uncomfortable. However, overall, I had a really fun night. I love dancing. I love friends. I am pretty excited about Pegasus over Christmas break with my loves from home.
Right now I'm procrastinating because I do not want to work on my take home final from hell. I have seriously worked on this stupid final for at least four hours. It's horrible. It is probably going to end up being 18 pages long. That is absolutely ridiculous. I want to tear my hair out. Ohhhh college. College would be perfect if it wasn't for classes.
So in one week, I'll be in FLORIDA! I cannot wait. I can't handle this 20 degree weather. It's slowly killing my spirit. Thank goodness I'll have a little break from the winter weather. I will need it desperately. I'm still convinced I need to live somewhere warm. Plus, I get five whole days with my girls...no guys, no schoolwork, no worries. Just fun!
Well...I should probably get back to my studying. Blah. I just keep trying to focus on how good I'll feel when I'm finished.

If your grandpap looked like Elvis, I'd stalk him
Feliz Navidad! I've spent the last three hours in the living room with E and A listening to Christmas music and doing homework. These are the fun days of college let me tell you. It has been an incredibly long time since I've written. Mainly because I am drowning in work. Classes end on Wednesday and finals week is next week. Life is hard and tiring right now. However, it is always fun! Disney in 11 days...I cannot wait. I checked the weather in Orlando today and it was 84 degrees. Which leads me to the fact that it is in the 20s this week. I just want to cry everytime I step outside. I hate winter. I mean it. I really do. No one seems to understand that I really really really do. So I am very proud of the fact that in the last week, I will have turned in 64 pages worth of papers and done 20 minutes worth of presentations. It has been a rough time, but to look at all the stuff I have done, holy crap I rock! So this weekend consisted of me relaxing in my sweatpants and fleece pullover (the latest love of my life). So, today, I lost a very important bet. I thought Michigan would be playing OSU in the national championship game, and I made a bet with Amanda. Turns out, they are playing Florida...what the hell is that?! Michigan totally deserved the rematch. Oh well...college football needs an end of the season playoff system...no more of this crap. And honestly, I am a ND fan, but how the hell did they end up playing the number 4 team, but other teams got screwed over. They need a new system. So, we played Life last night. I won!!! I retired with 3 million dollars and only one accidential baby. YES! Oh, and I made M be gay. So when he got married, he had to marry a man. Haha. I don't know how he puts up with me. Oh wait! It's because he's not ready to come out of the closet yet. A just told me I missed Fergie perform on VH1. Now my life is ruined. Let's see what else is new...Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat...Ok I think I'm officially out of steam. Plus, I still have work to do and a shower to get before I retire to my bed.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around." -Love Actually
