And So I Begin...

So today a great idea dawned on me...I keep a journal, I love to write, and I have a large family who is pretty far away from me. It gets kind of rough trying to update everyone on everything going on, so I thought the best idea would be to start a blog. Plus, I mean come on, blog is such a cool word that I had to be a blogger.
I can't even believe it's November already...someone should have warned me! Today I woke up and put on a t-shirt and jeans to go to class. Then I looked up the weather, and it was 35 degrees out. My amazing judgement came into play when I put on a jean jacket and shoes without socks. Yes, I froze, but mentally I am not ready for gloves and heavy jackets. Blah. Oh, and I had a chocolate milkshake today. Once again, my heart is still in summerland.
Good news, though. Yesterday I took my last exam for the semester until finals week. I am so excited because it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Granted, I still have 2 papers and 2 huge projects to do, but still, better than exams. Oh, and there are only 43 more days until DISNEY WORLD!!! For anyone who doesn't know, my 3 roommates and I planned a nice little 4-day excursion to Disney World in December. I can't wait! Disney during Christmas time and Florida weather. I'll be in heaven.
Thursdays are my favorite days. The weekend is right in my grasp...I am so close to freedom for 2 days!!! This weekend should be amazing. Tomorrow the girls and I are heading to the mall for a fun shopping trip. After that, I'm going on a date!!! I absolutely adore dates. :) Saturday is E's birthday so we'll be celebrating that at Olive Garden and then ice skating afterwards. And Sunday will be my usual lazy day. I love lazy Sundays.
Well, my first post has been quite a success I must say. And while I've been blogging (I told you that was an awesome word) I have been watching When Harry Met Sally...our one guy friend felt that he needed to watch it. He was right, everyone should see this movie. It's in my top 3. Amazing.
I think I'll end every blog with a quote because I love quotes.

"There are chapters in every life which are seldom read and certainly not aloud. "~Carol Shields

Ashley
