I was just listening to Kenny Chesney's Summertime song. And I thought, Aro and I never got the Yoohoo bottle for the floorboard. And then I thought, we never rode Dino at Wal Mart at 3 in the morning. Bums.
Anyhow, today I helped out with Kids Voting America, a program that lets kids vote at the polls when their parents vote. Quite a cute idea. There was an 8th grader that we talked to for quite sometime. He told us he had a girlfriend for one day, but she ended up being a slut. Or ho. Or bitch. Whatever one you preferred. Then he told us all his clothes were from Hollister. Oh, except his cologne...that was from Abercrombie. Can you believe this?! This kid is 13 years old. Crazy. I feel so out of touch with today's youth...and was it really like that when I was 13?
I registered for my classes today. Lovely. I am so sick of taking classes. Yuck. And I have 2 classes on Friday. I don't think I'll ever have a semester with Fridays off. That's one of my goals in life: no class on Friday. That's a good goal, and I can only hope one day it will come true. Haha.
So, how about in 6 and 1/2 weeks I will be a junior in college. I'll be halfway through. That is absolutely insane!!! I still feel like a freshman.
Well, that's it for today. Sorry folks, not much fun, just a quick update.
